Terms of use

DRAFT for legal review, not final. These terms are a plain-English starting point and are not yet in force.

Draft dated October 2026

1. What MWT Picks is

MWT Picks is a Mac app and a free Chrome extension (MWT Picks) that shows short prediction cards while you watch football. You answer with play points. It is a game for fun.

2. Play points have no cash value

• Play points are free. You cannot buy them, sell them, swap them, withdraw them or exchange them for money, prizes or anything of value.
• Points you "win" are only a score inside the app. Nothing you do in MWT Picks pays out real money.
• We may reset, adjust or remove play points, for example to fix errors or stop abuse.

3. You must be 18 or over

You must be at least 18, and old enough under the law where you live, to use MWT Picks. We may ask you to confirm your age and may close accounts we believe belong to someone under 18.

4. Your account

Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. One account per person. Give us accurate details, including your country.

5. Playing fairly

• Don't use bots, scripts or several accounts to collect points.
• Don't try to break, copy or overload the service.
• Don't use MWT Picks for anything unlawful.

We may review accounts and suspend or close ones that break these rules.

5a. Invites and the monthly Top 10

• Free to enter. You never need to pay or buy anything to invite friends, join the leaderboard or win a prize.
• Invites. A friend who registers with your invite link gets 250 play points. When they have made picks on 3 different matches, you get 500 play points. Up to 20 friends a month count for you.
• Leaderboard. Each calendar month (UTC), players are ranked by play points won from settled picks. Invite points do not count. Ties go to the better prediction accuracy, then the earlier sign-up.
• Prizes. The top 10 each month may win a prize we name before the month starts. Prizes are goods or vouchers, never cash or crypto, and cannot be swapped for cash. We contact winners by email and may ask for proof of age and identity. Unclaimed prizes after 14 days go to the next player.
• Your name. The leaderboard shows the name you choose, or a player number. Your email is never shown. We may remove names that are rude or misleading.
• Fair play. Fake accounts, inviting yourself, bots and shared accounts are not allowed. We may remove points, cancel invites or withhold prizes if we reasonably believe someone broke these rules. Staff and their households cannot win prizes.
• Prizes are only offered where the law allows. We may change or end this promotion with notice on this page; prizes already won will still be given.

6. Safer play

The app includes limits and a cool-off option. Use them. If play stops feeling like fun, take a break and consider talking to a support service such as BeGambleAware.

7. Predictions and the AI pick

Questions, odds and the AI's pick are for entertainment. They may be wrong and are not advice of any kind. Match data can be delayed or inaccurate.

8. No guarantees

We provide MWT Picks "as is". We try to keep it running and accurate but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We are not responsible for your match stream or third-party sites. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

9. Changes and ending

We may change the service or these terms. If a change is important we'll tell you before it applies. You can stop using MWT Picks and ask us to delete your account at any time.
